Private Hire Terms and Conditions

General Venue Terms

We operate a ‘challenge 25’ policy and anyone who appears to look under the age of 25 will be asked for proof of age.

All children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. For semi-private hires, children under the age of 18 will need to leave the premises by 9pm due to licensing rules.

Dogs are welcome in both the venue and gardens; however, we do request they remain on a lead at all times and any ‘accidents’ are the owner’s responsibility to clean up!

Hackney Church Brew Co. take NO responsibility for any loss or damages to personal property of any guests pre, during and post hire.

Any equipment, decorations or possessions must be delivered and collected in the allocated time slot of hire unless pre-agreed and approved by management.

Decorations must be pre-approved by management and any damages to the venue will be charged.

No external drinks or food is permitted in the venue without pre-approval from management and will be subject to a “corkage” fee.

All food pre-orders must be made at least 14 days before the event date.

All pre-orders and the total balance must be paid for in advance of your event. We cannot refund items due to purchasing specifically for your event.

It is the responsibility of the event planners to inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements; please inform us in advance to ensure we are able to accommodate your requests as much as possible.

External contractors (i.e. live music and DJs) must adhere to all venue rules and licensing conditions at all times. Please inform us of any external suppliers you are planning to use in advance.

It is the event planner’s responsibility to organise, plan and co-ordinate their own external contractors. The venue is not responsible for them in any way. Set up and close down must be conducted during the times allotted by the venue only.

Any possession or equipment delivered prior to or collected post-event are the sole responsibility of the event planner. The venue takes NO responsibility for any damage or loss incurred by storing at the venue.

We have a duty of care to all guests and anyone who appears intoxicated will be asked to leave the premises or prohibited entry.

Management reserve the right to eject guests in breach of venue and licensing rules.

In the event of a Private Hire, the venue will, at no additional cost to the hirer, provide one SIA Badged security guard to ensure no unauthorised persons gain entry to their event.

Payments

25% of your total amount is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is required at least 14 days before your booking date.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30-day cancellations made 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 30 days to 14 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 14 days are non-refundable.

The event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 3 months from the original date, at no cost.

Changes in the number of guests cannot be guaranteed or accommodated without 14 days’ notice and approval from management.

General Booking Terms & Conditions

We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes if you are running late. After this, it may be given to other waiting guests.

If you have provided a card authentication, you will only be charged if you do not show up for your allotted booking, or you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Tables for Lunch, Dinner, and Sunday Roast bookings are automatically allocated inside. Please let us know if you would like to sit outside.

A booking for Just Drinks does not guarantee a seat for every guest in your party.
