You must be 18 or older to buy alcohol. By placing an order with us online you are confirming you are 18 or older. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.
If you are buying alcohol for someone else the recipient also must be 18 or older.
Deliveries must be accepted by a person aged 18 or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.
If we are unable to fulfil the whole of your order for any reason, then we will email you with your options. If we haven’t received a response by 8am the following day then we will ship your order and refund the difference.
All orders are shipped the following working day after processing. Depending on the time the order was placed, it may be processed the next working day. Orders are not processed on weekends or bank holidays.
Any orders containing pre-sales item will be shipped from the designated date on the product page.
If your order contains any additional items, this will not be shipped separately, all items in the same order will be shipped together at once.
Any additional shipping requests will be charged at £7.99. We cannot confirm that any items on the same order as the pre-sales items can be shipped separately, but will try to accommodate any special requests. Please email with your order number for any special requests.
If goods are to be returned to Hackney Church Brew Co., they must be returned in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase. You will be refunded for the goods once received back into our warehouse, minus applicable shipping costs, unless the return concerns faulty or damaged goods. Contact us at if you would like to return your goods back to us and we will help you to do this.
We use a third party, Printful, to fulfil many of our merchandise items. If goods are to be returned to Printful contact with your order number and item description and we will advise how to proceed. We cannot accept returns due to buyer’s remorse.
We do not accept returns of perishable goods (all of our beer products) from outside of the UK.

If there is a problem with your order or items are faulty, you must inform Hackney Church Brew Co within 30 days of receipt of the order to obtain a refund. To report a problem please contact us at . We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds after this time period has elapsed, but we will do everything in our power to try to work something out.
If an attempted delivery is obviously damaged, you are within your rights to refuse the order, at which point it will be returned to us. If you choose to do this, please contact us at and we will either resend the order, issue a full refund, or offer a voucher for the spent amount on your next order, whichever is preferable.
We have robust quality assurance and quality control programs in place to ensure that our beer reaches you in the best condition possible. If you are not happy with the quality of the product received please do let us know at , with a photograph of the issue so that we can investigate the cause and agree a suitable resolution. We cannot accept returns or process refunds for issues with beers that have not been stored correctly. Beer should be stored refrigerated and consumed within the best before date. All our beer is unfined, unfiltered and unpasteurised for the greatest and most natural flavour.
We cannot accept responsibility for delivery failure if you provide an incorrect address and postal code or incorrect contact telephone number/e-mail address. Please check this information when placing your order. If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility or the facility of a fulfilment partner. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).
This does not affect your statutory rights.
As these orders are paid for in the UK, VAT is payable on all online shop orders regardless of the final destination country. We keep all international surcharges to a minimum where possible, but this charge is not something we can waiver.
We try to keep any international surcharges to a minimum for the customer to have as smooth of a shopping experience as possible. However, any international orders may have unexpected local customs charges applied. It is the customers responsibility to clear any custom/tax costs, so please ensure you are happy to do so before placing your order. If you choose to refuse your delivery due to any additional fees, we reserve the right to deduct shipping and any other costs incurred before processing your refund after we have received your return.

No waiver by us of any breach of these terms and conditions by you shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If the beer you received is not as advertised or has any quality issues, please contact us immediately with your order number. Include the name of the beer in question, a description of the issue, and an image of the beer. We will address this with our brewing team and lab, after investigating the quality issue, will issue a refund for the item. We cannot accept returns or process refunds for issues with beers that have been incorrectly stored. Beer should be stored refrigerated and consumed within the best before date. All our beer is unfined, unfiltered and unpasteurised for the greatest and most natural flavour.
If we are issuing a refund or replacement for beers with a quality issue, we may ask for evidence of the destruction/disposal of the original beers.
If your beer arrived damaged, please contact us, and we will either send you a replacement or issue a refund.
Once we have received your return or processed your quality complaint, we will issue a refund for the cost of the item.
