Lucy specialises in creating bespoke, personalised tankards for craft breweries.
Lucy has collaborated with breweries and beer shops across the UK, including Deya Brewery, Verdant Brewery, Northern Monk Brewery, Unbarred Brewery, Harvey's Brewery, and Wiper and True, as well as independent beer shops in Southampton and Sheffield. Each bespoke tankard is handmade in Lucy’s garden studio using speckled stoneware clay. She fires and glazes them in an electric kiln at 1220°C. The process involves throwing the main cylinder on the pottery wheel, extruding and attaching the handle, creating a logo stencil, and screen-printing it onto special rice paper before transferring it to the tankard. Lucy develops unique glazes from raw materials to match each brewery's branding.
